Seattle Great Wheel Sunset

The Many Sides of the Seattle Great Wheel

The Seattle Great Wheel is always a joy to capture in photos.

One of many Seattle’s landmarks, you can’t just ignore it.

I have compiled a couple of photos that I have taken in the past for you to enjoy.

Hopefully, this sparks some creativity next time you are out and about in the streets of Seattle.

A few tips for you to consider when capturing the Seattle Great Wheel:

Get Low

This angle is probably the most joy to watch in photographs as you can get very creative.

Try to frame the wheel with some floral or find a puddle to reflect it.

Find A High Advantage

You’ll be surprised at how many angles there are to capture the wheel in high altitudes.

Go up to garages or to Pier 66 for a great view of the city too.

Use Props

If you happen to have a lens ball or even your phone for a reflection, it’ll be perfect to use for the wheel.

Include People for Scale

This one is probably my favorite since I love capturing moments at the wheel.

There is always something going at the wheel so you’ll have options.

Long Exposures

Go at night to take some long exposures of the wheel.

There is always a new lighting design on the wheel, so you’ll always have a different photo.

Enjoy this set of the Seattle Great Wheel and remember to flow your creativity.
