New Year’s Resolutions: Photography Edition

New Year’s resolutions, it’s that time of year again, where everyone declares theirs.

I don’t take part of it as much as I would like to, however, there are things that I like to step up.

This 2019, I would love to improve on my business and create with others on a whole new level.

Going Personal

This doesn’t mean go out and tell everyone my deep darkest secrets.

By this, I mean going live on Instagram, doing some tutorials and showing more of me.

I am shy in front of the camera, so this one will be tough.

Working With More Creators

Since moving from Florida to Washington, I have been in contact with lots of creators such as models and photographers.

Whether it be learning new business techniques or taking photos for a blog, it’s always an opportunity to network.

There are many tutorials on how to edit photos and what gear to buy, but not enough marketing skills.

Blogging

How ironic!

One thing I don’t do much of.

You can never have enough blogs, but I also don’t want to spam.

Great blogs take good planning.

This will keep me up to date with my audience and they get to see what I am up to.

Writing Down Ideas

Writing down ideas will keep you motivated to create a photo or as mentioned above, a blog.

I can’t stress it enough how many things have slipt from my mind due to not writing it down.

When I do it, I’m glad I took the time to jot it down.

Urban Photography

I have been falling in love with urban photography more and more.

One huge inspiration is the main man himself, Evan Ranft.

These are just a few things that I would love to improve on especially in photography.

What’s something that you would love to work on this coming 2019?
