A photography business vs a hobby does have its differences.

One of the main reasons is making money with a business.

However, does one always feel happy while making money with their business?

Reconnecting Yourself

There might be days where a photographer feels burnt out because of all the paid work they might be doing.

Some work they love to do and other work they might be taking because it can pay the bills.

It probably takes a toll on them and regret doing the work because it’s not what they do.

Sometimes going out and shooting for yourself is an ideal thing to do to connect with yourself and why you started doing photography in the first place.

All Fun, No Play

People have been telling me to photograph weddings, but I however think that this is something that I won’t be happy doing.

Maybe not now, but just thinking about it does give me anxiety.

My strongest asset is working either one on one with a model or even a couple for an engagement photoshoot.

I don’t take all jobs that are offered to me because they are no way associated with my style of photography even if it pays a ton of money.

Time To Yourself

Go photograph what makes you happy, what made you start your love for photography or some other passion you have.

It’ll recharge you up and maybe it can give you an idea to reorganize yourself.

Figure out different ways to actually love running your photography business and declutter what doesn’t make you happy.
